Meetings of the Group are held four times a year, including an Annual General Meeting. Venues for our meetings vary and we try to organize meetings around Kent & Medway so that members can attend at least one or two meetings during the year.
Agendas are available on this site, with meetings usually held at 10am (9.30 for coffee). The meeting is divided into two halves:
A business meeting which updates members on regional news and development along with special topics where possible.
Following a comfort break, a lecture or presentation by professionals on a topic of current concern or interest. These include issues concerning sustainability such as marketing, governance, volunteer succession, as well as collection/conservation related talks for the non-specialist.
Meetings end by 1pm. New topics for lectures are always welcome from members - just use the contact email on this site.
